Wang Zhuo has successfully followed her parents’ footstep by taking the Sunfeel brand one step further in the last few years by employing smart marketing strategies on product positioning and branding through the use of celebrity endorsement to promote its brand among its target audience in 2nd, 3rd and 4th tier cities in China.
Under her management, the company has grown from about 300 stores in 2010 to more than 1,600 outlets in 2016. This success has been attributed to aggressive marketing and PR activities, but Wang believes that nurturing an energised and engaged workforce is the key to the company’s success.
