About Kent WONG Siu Kee:
Joined Chow Tai Fook in 1977 as an apprentice and promoted to Managing Director in 2011, Wong has devoted himself to the industry for over four decades. Under his leadership, Chow Tai Fook became the first Hong Kong-based Jewellery group to open the first store in Mainland China in 1998 and further expanded its global presence, with over 4,000 points of sale around the world. In the 2000s, the Group is spearheading the digital revolution of the industry by enlisting patented Smart Tray with RFID, blockchain technology diamond grading report.
Wong has also earned the respect in the trade as an active member of organisations like the Hong Kong Jewellers’ & Goldsmiths’ Association (HKJGA) Ltd, which he presides over as its chairman. The organisation established the “Quality Gold Mark,” which is regarded as a seal of excellence among players in the gold and jewellery business in Hong Kong.
On top of these, Wong received several recognitions such as “CEO of the Year/Luxury/Asia” at the 2016 International Alternative Investment Review Awards, and was named “Asia’s Best CEO (Investor Relations)” by Corporate Governance Asia in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
