About Raphael Gübelin:
Raphael Gübelin is on his second year as CEO of the 160-year old Gübelin Group and remains focused on imprinting his own legacy in the Switzerland-based family business. He is presiding over a company carrying on its tradition while innovating and expanding, with a particular focus on Asia. Three years ago it opened a permanent Gübelin Gem Lab in Hong Kong, followed by a boutique in Kuala Lumpur in 2012, and soon a salon in Hong Kong. He has also helped increase the turnover of the retail business across Switzerland by large double-digit percentages.
